In brief
Specialising in clinical negligence work with a particular interest in birth injury cases, including cerebral palsy claims, my caseload covers a wide variety of medical cases, including misdiagnosis, delayed diagnosis and poor medical treatment.
I also have extensive experience in all areas of personal injury law including serious injury and brain injury claims.
Industry associations
Memberships include APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers), CPIL (College of personal Injury law). I am also a panel member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel and a keen supporter of Headway, the acquired brain injury charity.
In work
I have achieved settlements of up to £440,000 on my own cases, and assisted on cases worth up to £3.6 million.
In the past
A graduate of Essex University with an LLB (Hons) in 1997, I took a year out to go travelling before completing my LPC at Manchester Metropolitan University in 1999. Following this, I worked as a personal injury para-legal at Russell Jones & Walker in Manchester before completing my training contract at Harold Stock & Co. A move in 2001 took me to Withy King in Swindon where I specialised in personal injury litigation, before moving to Boyes Turner in 2004.
In my spare time
I am learning to play the piano and have come out of retirement to return to playing rugby for a local women’s team.
