Spinal injuries sustained after Council van hits bus queue
8 injured as Council van hits bus queue
A recent road traffic accident in Reading is yet another example of serious road traffic accidents involving pedestrians. Eight people were injured as they waited at a bus stop in Oxford Road in Reading, Berkshire. The injuries included serious head injuries, a broken jaw, multiple bone fractures and spinal injuries.
Personal Injury Partner, Kim Smerdon, said :
“We act for many pedestrians, often the innocent victims of negligent drivers. In each case we have to consider whether the driver of the vehicle is to blame for the accident and if we can do that then we can secure compensation for those injured. It is important that these people are able to access specialist legal advice quickly and easily.
We are able to offer our expertise in dealing with road traffic accidents such as these, particularly those involving serious head and spinal injuries. We guarantee that there will be no cost to those injured and no deductions made from any compensation that we secure for them.”
