Warehouse worker injures spine and back at work

40k compensation for warehouse worker injured on the job

Our client was employed in an IT warehouse. His job was to lift personal computer equipment onto a conveyor line and to clear data from the equipment tower.

He injured his spine and back when he lifted a series of computer towers sustaining debilitating spinal and back injuries which resulted in him being unable to work.

He was able to provide detailed evidence as to health and safety practices at the Defendant company including discriminatory treatment following the accident.

Despite the failure of colleagues to come forward with supportive statements we were able to produce sufficient information in his Witness Statement as to the working practices at the Defendant company to negotiate a settlement of £40k to conclude the case in October 2008.
